SLA Performance Reporting
SLA Performance Reporting
SLA Performance Reporting helps teams understand whether response and resolution commitments are being met.
Common SLA measures
Reporting may include information such as:
- tickets within target
- breached tickets
- approaching breaches
- response performance
- resolution performance
- service trends over time
Use appropriate filters
Review SLA results by team, priority, SLA plan, date range, or other supported dimensions.
Investigate breaches
A breach count alone does not explain the cause.
Review affected tickets to identify patterns such as assignment delays, excessive backlog, unrealistic targets, or process bottlenecks.
Compare periods carefully
Make sure service plans and filters are comparable when reviewing performance over time.
Good practices
Use SLA reporting to improve service, not simply to improve percentages. Preserve accurate ticket and timing data so reporting reflects the real customer experience.
